The KA Foundation formally known as the Kualama Foundation is dedicated to safeguarding the ancestral traditions, cultural heritage, and spiritual connection to the Earth of indigenous communities, particularly the tribes of the Sierra Nevada in Colombia. We aim to foster a deep, reciprocal relationship between humanity and the natural world, honoring the sacred principle that what we give to the Earth, the Earth returns to us.
The KA Foundation is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to preserving and uplifting the ancestral wisdom, living traditions, and vibrant cultural heritage of Indigenous communities—especially the tribes of the Sierra Nevada of Colombia, guardians of the Heart of the Earth. Guided by the sacred principle that what we offer to the Earth, the Earth returns to us, we seek to restore balance and reciprocity between humanity and the natural world.
