Romio Shrestha

  •  An internationally celebrated master artist and one of the few living guardians of the ancient Thangka tradition — the sacred Himalayan art form that encodes the geometry of enlightenment. His visionary work reawakens a lineage nearly lost to time, translating timeless spiritual teachings into luminous paintings that bridge worlds and awaken consciousness.

    Body of Light — The Living Transmission

    The Body of Light series is the culmination of Romio Shrestha’s life’s work — a collection of large-scale, illuminated paintings that invite the viewer to perceive beyond form into the luminous field of awareness itself. It is both a teaching and a transmission, a bridge between ancient mysticism and contemporary consciousness.

    Our Mission

    The KA Foundation has been entrusted as the official caretakers of the Body of Light collection, carrying forward its mission to share this art in service to Indigenous peoples, ancestral remembrance, and planetary awakening. Through exhibitions and gatherings worldwide, this collaboration honors the timeless truth that beyond all division, we are beings of light.
